Nothing wrong with Atiesh. just tookthis image as it had the most wow weapons thrown together. some TBC and everything post wotlk is absolute vomit inducing.

Whats wrong with Atiesh or Gorehowl? WoW definitely has some fucked up designs but there are a look of good ones too. However, after vanilla they definitely through modesty out the window.

Tbh I played very little of Cata, but as I said i would expect this armor in some generic fantasy game №723 or as a skyrim mod, It's not as over-the-top as older designs. But that's just my tastes, i really liked dumb desgns, not like AQ which just sucked, but like like banana paladin.

Yeah, most epics end up looking overdesigned because they need to make them look like they warrant a purple name but Warcraft also has all the dull plate and generic longswords that Dark Souls fags love too, with literally thousands of different drops you can't have them all be fucking steel claymores, so they jump all over the place with the styles.

I feel after reaching level 100+ you deserve a god tier weapon. Before then you'll have the image on the left anyway, its a nice/optional change.
You can always transmog though if you refuse the neon look-at-me weapons.
