Actually it runs ok. The enemies are scaled back but aside from that it is playable. The slowdown is akin to mega evolving with the 3D on in pokemon X or Y.

Wind Waker map its already in the 3ds game, you unlock it after you beat the first adventure map
then master quest twiligt and termina have to be unlocked by beating previous adventure maps
this way they made it from easiest to hardest and replacing all rewards to this method, in map 1 you have new lvl 1 weapons in map 2 you have lvl 2 weapons etc...

Why waste Adventure Mode maps with these? The DW devs also made Ken's Rage 1 and 2, so why not a Fist of the North Star Adventure Mode map? They still have the license for FOTNS.

I'm glad I gave the (New)3DS port a try. I was initially a grumpy asshole about the Wii U version not getting the adventure mode dlc, but so far all the changes to the actual gameplay have been really impressive.
Just don't play it on an original 3DS. That runs like absolute garbage.
