He had shattered his pelvic bone, and the surgery would cost me more than I could pay. My insurance didn't cover it. The vet had no payment plans. Even if I had the money, he'd still require painkillers and stool softeners for the remainder of his life. He was only 2.
Fucking sucks, man. Never cried in front of anybody before, but knowing I couldn't afford to help him had me crying as I saw him get put down.
