i have buyers remorse for dark souls as well but for different reasons, when the game came out it was $26 and I paid for it. Never got around to playing it because reasons, by the time I actually started playing it, it regularly went on sale for $5.

I never got around to finishing DaS2, all the things that made the first game great in my opinion were either badly done or lacking in the sequel, that pretty much every single boss was unimpressive and forgetable killed it for me.

If you are interested in naval and aerial warfare in the modern age, yes very much so, if I recall correctly every single ship and plane that entered production in the last 50 years or so is included in the game, not to mention specific equipment in form of radar and missile technology.
You create or play scenarios where the outcome is relatively realistic.
Just remember that this is more of a simulator than a game, they have threads about it on /k/ every now and then.

There's several PS4 ports that are basically the best version you can get or a straight upgrade (Gravity Rush, Yakuza 0, Digimon) even excluding those shitty "definitive editions" like TLoU. It's not a substitute for exclusives, but like with the GameCube several of these may as well be.
I just couldn't get past shit combat, I genuinely tried a couple of times.

2/3 of full-split multiplats were best on Xbox, but a good chunk of those were on PC as well. There were very few Xbox/PS2 multiplats, but quite a few GameCube/PS2 multiplats. The GameCube version was almost always better to the point that anyone spoiled for choice may as well consider them exclusive.
Killer 7 is probably the best example. It's "multiplat" but looks like ass and is borderline unplayable on PS2.

Is there as simple a patch or mod for DaS2 like DSfix for DaS? I really enjoyed the first and bought the second but now it's telling me I need to do install some program to get it running properly for the KBM and I just really can't be bothered if it's not as simple as it was for the first game.
I was already sick of the shit I needed to do for DaS and the whole time while playing it through I was so glad that for DaS2 From would surely have ported it better after the massive success of the first but NO IT'S EVEN FUCKING WORSE.

Git gud. People in that game treat you the way all human beings are treated and valued, their worth and their contribution. If you top frag and carry they love you, if you can't carry but make really good call outs and atleast kill one person before you die, they love you. If you suck at call outs and aiming but can make the best strats that put your players in a position to rekt, guess what, they love you. The game isn't hard, just be of slightly higher than average intelligence, learn how to use grenades before going into rank and you will be placed into MG1 and within a few games you will be MGE and the people aren't annoying, they kind of joke around and insult each other randomly but then laugh it off as they are mostly all decent aimers.
