Dragons should be a tad resistant to fire since their scales don't burn much if at all but the skin underneath the scales should be as flammable as other skin is.
Oil, magic fire and extremely hot areas should hurt as dragon as much as anyone else.

Damn that's brutal.
>What is Elemental resistance?
>What is Magic resistance?

Can you produce fire with greater intensity than the one inside the dragon's belly? No? Then shut the fuck up.
>>332248845
Even those that live in really hot areas?

This >>332248845 fucking Dr. Patrick Dofile here looks at a Magical Creature as a normal fucking dog. Get the fuck out of here.

Well that's not a standard dragon then, dragons that live in Lava or what have you are obviously different, but standard dragons usually just live in caves and shit and can still die if they catch on fire.
It varies from dragon to dragon and mythology to mythology.

The standard dragon spits fire. If it can withstand hot fire from inside, it should be able to withstand way more than what it spits from outside.
>>332250821
Well most of them don't actually spit fire. They spew out gasses that ignite when they hit the air or mix in the air or what have you, the fire either starting directly inside the mouth or directly outside of it.
At least the more "realistic" depictions of them.
Also having a mucus membrane capable of withstanding heat inside your wet mouth is not the same as having fireproof skin or organs. While there are depictions of dragons that do have fireproof skin, that is not the standard at all. Most dragons are simply fire resistant.
