This game takes place entirely during rainy nights to reflect the mindset of the main character at the time. This is used to a nice effect particularly when you go on a trip to an English mansion or a BDSM party at a slaughterhouse.
Not sure if it counts, but NaissanceE takes place mostly in dark areas, with lots of time spent actually walking through pure darkness. The route to progress is by following lights (not in the sense that they're posted everywhere for you to follow though).

A better GTA clone than Saints row 1&2. Really comfy, the story is nothing special, but corny in a good way. The melee is fun, gunplay is rare and not so fun. The biggest problem I had with this game is the driving, it's passable, but the cars feel heavy but the driving is still arcade driving, which is a bad combo

I know you really can't see the sky unless you look, but Animal Crossing: New Leaf has some legit nights. When I was working night shift at my old job, and my whole sleep schedule was fucked up for my social life, I'd just play AC:NL until 4-5am before going to sleep.

Its storyline is a complete garbage, I'd like to think of is as an Assassins simulation game. Tabula rasa protagonist, enjoyable different weapones, clothes and playstyles, and moving around really improved in unity. I bought it about a week go. Im na AC fan, and Unity is a fun too, but in a kinda different way
MGSV, with the right monitor. Plenty of people complain the nights are too bright, which is true, I had that issue on a nice samsung. With an Asus though, the nights are deep black, and I can barely make out enemies, with the infinite heaven mod I have NVG's disabled (for both me and the enemies) as well as all icons and xray nonsense.
