BB did something clever for me. In DeS and both DaS games I was a sword n board tank. In BB you HAVE to dodge and become agile. I never did in the others. Id grind until I could block anything.

Keep your distance during the first phase. Bait out hi attacks but never hit more than 2x at a time. Once you get him to his 2nd phase and e rips off his arm, run straight into him. Position yourself so your right under his ass (in the center of his legs and tail) and start attacking. Youll be doing piss poor damage but its the safest way. In that position hell try to stomp on you but that's easy to detect. Avoid his attacks and keep wittling his health down. If you hit a limb enough he'll momentarily stagger. His he does his super jump DONT MOVE. Stay where you are and turn around (unless if youre against a walll. If you do this his jump will miss you completely and his head will be right in front of you. Take a few pot shot at it and the run under his ass again. Rinse and repeat. But dont get cocky. I once got him to literally a pixel of health. I went for the final blow and wound getting one shotted by his stomp. Almost snapped my controller in half

I had to fight the Loran version for about 3 hours on my LVL4 character, I got to know him very well.
Its pretty safe to only go for a couple attacks once under him, and then if he does the AOE just run away from it. If he does the 180 swipe, roll once and you should be pretty close to his legs to do more attacks.

I think my biggest issue is the DPS race of beating him before he reaches his second form, because his second form is just fucking bullshit incarnate and I have an easier time fighting laurence than paarl in his second form. I have gotten to know some of his attacks pretty well, but he's just such an unfun boss to me, particularly after the first 3 bosses which are all so great, particularly gascoigne.

Damage one of his legs to a point where you can easily break it, and once he goes to buff himself, break that leg and keep on mashing. Prioritize one leg at a time and try to keep him down. He always has to scream/buff twice when he loses the electricity

Yeah but it was mostly just focusing and being patient with my attacks. The issue was that I kept missing my attacks, losing stamina and then getting hit because I was mid animation or couldn't roll away in time, but I did try my best to distribute limb damage

That's Rom's corpse, right? Rom died in the real world, and that caused the Blood Moon to fall for the first time, which lead to the burning of Old Yharnam. Then Rom showed up in the dream world, and you later kill her there, causing the Blood Moon to show up again. Ebrietas is both Kin and a Great One, so she's possibly a much older version of Rom. Rom being an advanced larval state, and Ebrietas being an adult, probably a Pthumerian from a long ass time ago.
What was holding back the Blood Moon before?
Also, by killing Mergo, you've done a better job than any hunter ever. Shouldn't Gherman be relieved of his duties by the Moon Presence since there's no need for the nightmare to persist?

The blood moon wasn't always there, it happens in special circumstances, namely, hunts, and it was beckoned by mensis fucking around, so it's not the kind of thing that rom always has to hide. Also, the blood moon is kind of symbolic for the dreamlands, when it enters the real world, it means that our realm starts to blend in with the dreamlands, and the great ones can exert their influence over the real world, which is why everything is so incredibly fucked up in BB.

I think cyberpunk could work perfectly for bloodborne 2. I mean, who says it has to be set in the victorian era?
