that's an opinion, but both demons and dark had slower combat. They didnt have powerstancing which sped up combat a lot.

you've got a point here at least, but the other two games didn't have changed rolling animations either.
Overall though, the amount and variety of weapons and items in the game, as well as powerstancing and more weapon movesets, not to mention much better PVP and 60fps made the gameplay the fastest and smoothest in the souls series thus far. I'm not saying it's the best, but in terms of gameplay it has much more to offer than dark 1 or demons.

DaS2 is a good game, however it's also a disappointing sequel that was flawed and had a lot of missed potential which left a bad impression on fans of earlier titles. Only some enemies have larger hitboxes than normal, and DaS1 was much like that, for example Stray Demon having hitbox on his stick when he's simply not moving.
Also the game is not unresponsive, this is just you being a retard like DSP.

Been watching Oro's playthrough too. I have to say, I'm not liking the level design so far. It reminds me of Dark Souls 2. Everything is wide open for no reason. There's a lot of excess space with overly large architecture, with just some enemies placed here and there.
Unlike Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, where levels where densely packed. In the older games, there was no excess. Every bit of the level served a purpose. You could look at any part of the environment, and glean some bit of information from it. But now, they just build these super large areas, with meaningless excess.
