1.6 inferno is the best cs map of all time
its simplicity and balance make it the goat

Blood Gulch is so simple in concept, but fantastic in execution. The teleporters, cave, cliff, and hills make it so much more than it seems. Excellent map.
I personally liked Guardian in Halo 3 the best though.

I fucking love this map because of how unabalanced it is.
Nothing is more fun than going against all the odds as CT and sneaking through the pipes to the hostage room and sneaking out with the hostage or stabbing half the team in the back.
