And I'll add that my best memories are from gen I and II, but I'm not even trying to pretend that they were objectively the best ones. Obviously I enjoyed them most because they were the first ones I played and I was kid back then, but if I had to play Pokemon now then gen IV/V would be much more enjoyable.
