I remember getting it when it came out. Was good fun for the first play through, but not much else after. Every mission was basically a repeat from one the level before. I enjoyed watching the cutscenes though and liked the story at the time.

No but the world was incredibly well designed, and there was an awful lot to do.
The story was poor and the gameplay got dull quite fast but there was plenty to collect

Was a lot of fun, but a lot of the races tended to be bullshit difficulty, you couldn't easily push around the racers, but they could easily knock you around. You had to pretty much drive flawlessly to stand a chance at winning.

I imagine they figured free to play was just more profitable. Though Simpsons games on the whole have always been pretty high quality for licensed games. The arcade game was fucking great.
