Bloodborne is awesome but have little variety in playstyles. And demons souls is shit. Dark souls 1 is best souls game. Also DsII is not THAT bad.
Skyrim is not a bad game, though it doesn't even come close to Oblivion or Morrowind.
The Telltale games aren't bad at all either, though I tend to think of them as 3D visual novels. Game of Thrones and The Wolf Among Us are really great.
Pokemon was bad from the start, I seriously can't get into that game.
FE4 was the best Fire Emblem of all time, Sacred Stones comes up second.
Half-Life 2 is a mediocre game, and has aged like milk.
MGSV is fun. If you don't like it, you likely don't have much imagination.
Diablo and Diablo 2 are pretty boring games.

I think playing on harder difficulty is more fun desu. It has nothing to do with insecurity, I just love the feeling after overcoming a particularly challenging boss or mission. While if I play on lower difficulty it's just mowing through enemy after enemy without any difficulty, hence no fun.

I started the series with Morrowind and I unironically think Skyrim is the lowest point of the series so far. Obviously MW is the best one (not an unpopular opinion) but even Oblivion has better writing, characters and more RPG mechanics than Skyrim. The only thing Skyrim did right was the combat, but that's only in comparison to its predecessors. It's still crap compared to, say, Souls games.

I didn't play the game long enough to run into a "shit build" problem. But this is exactly what they're complaint is about with this and games like The Division. If you like your FPS to be more RPG than shooter, to the degree that bullet damage is based around dee pee ess, instead of bullets having flat damage and the rpg elements coming from weapon accessories like infrared and flashbangs etc you have shit taste in the worst possible way. It ruins any hope of immersion and just reminds you that you're playing a shitty video game for casuals that might as well be playing world of warcraft.

Despite being a lower quality product, design-wise, I think DaS2 is more fun than DaS in the long run, whereas DaS is only more exciting the first time through.

SMT Devil Summoner 2 and Persona 4 are visual novels with RPG/battle elements.
Shadow of the Colossus is an 8/10.
Morrowind is a mediocre game by modern standards, or if you're playing it for the first time in 2016.
The Tony Hawk games (THPS2 through Project 8) probably have the most satisfying and fluid control/gameplay scheme of all modern vidya. Nothing feels as good to play, and it feels like controllers were designed for the Tony Hawk games.

Yeah I definitely agree. I thoroughly enjoyed playing that game co-op but it has no repeatability whatsoever. That's the ONLY bad thing about it and I hate that I can't do new builds or anything. You can't vary yourself each run by using different types of weapons because it's all one streamlined tree. Super Mario 3D World is the pinnacle perfection of the 3D Mario series in terms of actual Platforming.
All it needs is the high quality of Galaxy otherwise the gameplay style is fantastic and it locations are varied and not stuck to galaxies and tropical islands
