I'm ready for the "Undertale is a meme game" meme to end.
Parts of the story were pandering, some of the writing was god awful. The characters were generally enjoyable and the plot was still engaging. The gameplay that was there was enjoyable. The soundtrack is still fantastic.
I just wish the people who do hate it would move on already. I'm sick of seeing people talk about the game because there's no discussion of value to be had anymore. It still made a splash as a game in a way that will make people look at games differently for a while, even if it didn't do it in the best way.
