All It needed to do was ressurect old brands in a budget enviroment. Legend of Dragoon 2. Crash, Spyro, Dark Cloud handheld, Syphon Filter, MediEvil, Ape Escape.
The PSP rehashed a bunch of a shit, but it brought some stuff back.

It's a solid console held back by the lack of a mainline Monster Hunter title. But if Sony's as autistic with games NEEDING trophies as I've heard, then it makes sense. Monster Hunter is the last thing I want trophy garbage appearing in.

The hardware is great. Sadly it got no good software. Even a smartphone got better games.
It's a good handheld with a few solid games and a whole boatload of average JRPGs.
It's pretty much dead at this point and most games being made for it are also on PS4.
You can't even buy memory cards in store anymore.
