No, but mages are so broken that stacking them in a raid leaves half the raid open. Which allows raid leaders to set the loot to personal loot for everyone, and sell raid slots.

the expac comes with ONE 100 boost. legion is 100 - 110. currently, 1- 100 is literally pointless as its easy as fuck with heirlooms and doesnt teach you shit about the game. when a new expac comes out the previous expansion crap becomes trivial with regards to character progression.
buying raid carry's has been a thing since classic. this isn't new
the game has over 100 levels. there is nothing wrong with a boost. and remember, you only get ONE. you can buy one. but its 60 dollars. literally no one in the right mind would buy one.

there isnt really a worst class to level anymore, old world content is all pretty easy now. but if i had to choose id say proest is the least fun, but thats just me.
if you're lvl 60+ you get your professions boosted with the character boost
