Vega's buttons aren't much better than FANG's, but with his superior movespeed he can make it hard to poke at him and not get whiff-punished.
Vega's jLK beats FANG's stLP AA and trades with crMK and crHP. Crossup jLK specifically will straight-up beat crHP sometimes.
Vega's clawless pressure is very difficult for FANG to escape, especially since Vega has a command grab and a +3 move (stLP).

A lot of people tended to mash through whiffed MK Cloud blockstrings and got CH, but other than that I wouldn't say anything I did was particularly fraudulent. Nobody seemed to play the MU blindly past Super Silver. FANG's more honest, poke-oriented side can win a number of match-ups on its own.

The best way to learn is to watch replays from top FANGs, as he's a strange character who can play at a variety of tempos. Don't watch WORLD COMBO though, he's an RQer and not very good.

Really good Dhalsim's tend to be a problem for me. But like most Birdie's, a good rushdown game against me is the most troublsome considering he doesn't have many options to punish.

I have problems with everyone controlled by someone half-decent. Have to work for all wins, even against shitty shoryuken cr.lp spammers. Cancelling normals into v-skill dash is so satisfying though.
I have a routine where I win 5 casual matches before going to ranked. Then back to casual after losing 5. Lobbies are shit because you cant see flag and ping for most players.
Inb4 Alex and the bugfix update gets delayed and Capcom warns us at like March 29th
Also, I have that bug where your fighter ID gets swapped, but someone said that you can fix it by deleting your local files on steam and reinstalling. But I'm afraid I'll lose my color unlocks with that.

Strangely enough Zangief is one of the few characters i usually win with and i don't even practiced him much besides a few trys on survival mode.

I get you. Gold Vega, Fang alt here - Vega's weak points are his mediocre wakeup game and less than ideal offense. I don't know if you play aggressively but try playing a little more passive against him, and don't be afraid to turtle when you have a life lead. He will have to take a risk eventually and it won't be in his favour if you have good reactions, as Fang's defensive pokes are very strong if you can keep the enemy out of command grab range (very short for Vega) or cross up jump-ins. Chase down any walldives outside the corner with Jump MP. Ex walldive in the corner are more dangerous, you'll probably need to resort to CrHP which unfortunately leaves Vega at close range.
Try using StMK as an AA against raw jump-ins, maybe? It won't work if you're knocked down or against cross up angles obviously but it works well against every air normal I've tried.
Getting into a life deficit against Vega makes life a lot harder, he'll probably be trying to do the same thing to you.

There is a specific range that his Specials reach, and therefore a sweetspot that they can't reach.
Never jump, because air-tatsu can smack you down.
Don't stand near him on wakeup because Shoryu, don't approach after Tatsu because Shoryu can start RIGHT after Tatsu ends.
If he jumps over you, block backwards and high, as they will ALWAYS jump in with a crossup mk.
He's a faggot and by far the least fun to fight.
But if you know what range he's able to reach you at, then you can take him down with a high success rate.

Learning Gief, he's a lot slower in movement then IV and without green hand i find it hard to get in on rushdown characters but i'll learn.

Laura doesn't need much, but she could stand to have a few pokes improved to increase her neutral game. Against some characters unless they jump you don't have many options (Karin vs Laura is the best example here - you just get outranged and your moves simply have too much recovery in comparison).
They should probably make Laura's v-skill a bit safer on block. If you hit with just the tip of her toe it is safe on block but that is really hard to space out in a match. Improving this a bit would help, especially since it is her only non-jump overhead.

I've improved my basic combo execution by sticking with something simple (example, Ryu's cr.mk xx hadoken) and literally only using that for the ENTIRE match (do casuals or lobbies, don't put your LP on the line).
It helps you learn your spacing and get down muscle memory. Then, once you feel comfortable with that, do a different combo in the same manner. In my experience muscle memory improves more if you only focus on one combo at a time.

Despite all of the hate, I will continue to main Ken. He is a Karate man, he has cool flame effects, and he is easily the coolest character in the game (which is not saying a lot, SFV roster is weak).
Sometimes when playing as Ken I try to imagine I am playing KOF Kyo instead.
