I think it's a fine system now, lots of games (mostly weeb shit), but those mem cards are a killer.

I was hoping more games used the camera more. Would have been cool if some dev made a ghost hunting game where you had to find ghosts in your own house with the camera.
The motion controls were pointless as any game that tried to use them would become unplayable as you moved/tilted the screen away from you.
Front touch screen was fine and worked best when it was just used as extra inputs not for gimmicky shit.
The back touch screen was not utilized often and awkward to use when it was.
Mem cards were a mistake and there should have been at least 2gigs of mem on the initial model.

Blazblue runs at a solid 60fps and gorgeous on the oled screen. Disgaea 4 is a great time sink if you like turn based tactics. Check out Muramasa: Rebirth for an action rpg. Don't buy Borderlands 2, the port is fucked.

I can attest to Dragon's Crown being decent, albeit with some slowdown
Not sure about the Guacamelee Vita port, but if it's like the PC version that it's fine (so long as you can stomach internet culture referencesie: memes)
I just bought Freedom Wars on this.
Besides the game keeping me locked in the hub area for lengths of time it's a pretty fun game.
