You missed my biggest issue with the remake: no elemental weaknesses on the dragons. That sucked and made Anri's way even duller for me.
I don't think FE3 is perfect because maps like Chapter 3 and almost all of the Anri's Way arc suck but I can see your points. I like the little bonuses like supports and the BSFE/Download maps. I also prefer aspects of FE3 like the overall plot. Honestly I'm mostly flipfloppy on where I place the games but FE12 edges out thanks to having a faster engine. Both are lowish on my personal FE ranks(love em all though). I feel FE3 reuses too much from the first game and has a very cheese-heavy lategame.
