Might as well just play dice. Gotards will ACTUALLY defend this.

Would you be okay with a basketball game where no matter how well you lined your shots, 13% would still be rigged to miss?

Hi anon. The behavior you are describing is due to the recoil mechanic system of the game. Starting at the center of the crosshair, subsequent bullets will follow a pre-determined pattern specific to the gun, with mild amounts of randomness depending on how fast you are moving. I agree that the particular abstraction is slightly unintuitive, as normally dynamic crosshairs demarcate the exact spread of your bullets in first person shooters. But I have confidence that as with other abstractions that do not align perfectly with real life or other videogames, you can master it.
I believe in you anon. You can git gud.

>aim with a spray gun to body
>30 bullets shot
>3 hits for 20 damage
>meanwhile other guy does 481 with AWP sniper legshot on close distance
whats the fucking point
and fuck off with spray patterns if my crosshair is somewhere IT SHOULD MEAN IM AIMING THERE

>Lose at Roulette
>Jeez anon you're really bad at this you should practice gambling more
>>331526879
There are people with notebook's behind slot machines who think they find a pattern
>lost all my money at roulette
Git gud

Not bad, just perhaps overly frustrated with a mechanic that, while not immediately obvious in it's workings, can be understood with a little bit of thought.
With respect to the randomness inherent to the first shot, it's a balance compromise made necessary by the nature of it being a videogame.
In the game, you can heft an immense sniper rifle around and twirl about as if it was a feather. Likewise on the opposite end of the spectrum, you can hold any weapon perfectly steady as long as you aren't moving.
Because many weapons in the game are able to remove all 100 hp in one shot to the head, this presents an obvious problem for gameplay variety. Why use sniper rifles and weapons like them at all if you can use the much cheaper (in the in-game economy) assault rifles etc. which are much more versatile.
Frankly, having played the game, the first shot accuracy of say, the ak-47 is more than sufficient for the vast majority of distances in the game, and I know OP is baiting, i'm just trying to politepost.

ayyy lmao its just recoil hahah get good hahahah i am way better at videogames than you are kid also i am older than you therefore smarter.

>i'm a silver shitter so I complain in 4chan
>being fucking shit
I swear you people have never played the game.
Is 4chan really filled with casuals to this degree? It's no different from 1.6
Source player here. CS:GO is shit.
>>331528017
not OP, but 1.6 felt somewhat easier
there is also rng system in cs 1.6?
>>331526081
good bait m8
>>331526532
Couldn't you do at least a little research before you shitpost? If a guy with no arms and no legs can hit lem then I think you could learn the game.
>>331526532
Awp isn't lethal when shooting the legs.
>>331528087
1.6 player here, source is shit.
is there any difference in cs 1.6 and cs go besides graphics?
>>331528581
Agreed, but it's better than GO.
>>331528542
but shooting torso is easier than shooting legs
>>331528675
Nice job missing the point entirely
>>331528652
Yes.
>>331528652
Yes. The base mechanics of the games are different, this includes shooting, movement, the economy and the competitive maps.
CSGO is also based on 5v5 ranked competitive matchmaking while 1.6 and Source are much more heavy on community servers

he was talking about first shot inaccuracy, which is a thing, but dramatically less so with the 'CODguns'
