Another tip, if you find a powerful gun make sure you dont have it in your inventory when you pick another one up.
You get less ammo for picking up a gun you already have, so drop your weapon before you grab it.

i personally don't use the slowmo because I want to have authentic gun battles. the AI is fun enough to play against that I find it exhilarating and adds more to the experience. Unless of course I walk into a room and the lights go out, and a dozen enemies start piling into the room at once then there is really no choice but to use slowmo

The game is literally built around slow mo, and you are going to encounter enemies later on that are gonna be very hard to defeat outside of slow mo. Note that you will also need slow mo if you want to shoot enemy grenades and rockets.
Playing FEAR without slow mo is for secondary playthroughs once you have already got gud as fuck, now enemy placement and the mechanics all downpat and still you will need to use it in places. But even then, it's fun to use and makes the game better, literally why would you not use it?

Nah I made that. I used cheats. I wanted to see how fast you are in 'real time' while in slo-mo, but the regular bar translates to like three seconds when sped up, and would have made a lamer webm. I ended up getting carried away.

I'm 30 and played vidya all my life. Played FEAR on release also. Don't remember anything from that time. Slo Mo doesn't fit in the game this time around. Feel's like a cheat.
