What does /v/ think the best year in gaming was?

I'm going to have to go with 2004
>KotOR 2
>Half-Life 2
>San Andreas
>Total War: Rome
>WoW
>MGS3
>Halo 2
>CS:S
>UT: 2004
>Doom 3
>Metroid Prime 2
>Fable
>40k: Dawn of War
>Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines
>Far Cry
>Ninja Gaiden
literally the golden age
>>
I'm like 5 people that voted for Nader over Kerry in Massachusetts.
>>
>>331518489
>voting for Bernie-lite
You shouldn't be admitting that on 4chan, senpai.
>>
>>331518280
1998
>>
>>331518686
I actually voted for him twice back in 2000 and in 2004. Hell if it wasn't for Warren I don't think I have ever voted for a Democrat outside of state house/senate.
>>
1998

they stopped making good games after 2000
>>
2016

because you can play all the games from all those other years
>>

>Was old enough to vote in 2000

Shouldn't you be in bed grandpa
>>
>>331518924
Well meme'd, gamer! :v)

Still hasn't been one better
>>
>>331518280
Literally choose 1996, 97 or 98.

The high water mark of video games.

2001 was also an amazing year, so many classic games.
>>
>>331519045
well he made a great point
i have a toester of a pc and most of my time is spent on those old gamea

1998 was great, but the early 2000's had quality and quantity.

Starcraft, Half-Life, MGS, and OoT can't really compete against dozens of equally as good games.
>>
>>331518280
Why do they both look like complete caricatures. The blithering idiot and the paragon of muricanness.
>>
>>331518280
How did you Americucks manage to vote that monkey man in twice? This is why the rest of the world laughs at you.
>>
>>331521214
Gore literally won the first time but the Supreme Court fucked that up. As for the second time it was just after the Iraq War started so some people were still under the mind set he knew what he was doing.
>>
>>331518280
98
>>
>>331521214
>implying any other democratic Western country does better in their elections
it's a shitty system but at least it isn't Sharia Law, I guess.

>>331521318
I don't think you know how presidential elections work.
>>
>>331518280
I wish we could somehow personify the years 1998 and 2004 and have them fight to decide which was the better year because those are the big contenders
>>
>>331521387
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_v._Gore

All recounts had Gore winning.
>>
>>331518784
>Warren
Why would you even do that?
>>
>>331521387
>exaggerating Muslims in other Western countries

That's all you Burgerclaps can say. Muslims are powerless shits in all English speaking countries.
>>
>>331521534
Right, so you don't know how presidential elections work.

Popular vote doesn't and has never decided who wins the election.
>>
>>331521587
What? That wasn't what I was getting at at all.

Stop going to /pol/, Anon. It's changing you.
>>
>>331521592
Popular vote in Florida faggot.
>>
>>331521650
Right that Sharia Law quip wasn't a stab at Britain or anything.
>>
>>331521715
No, it was a quip about theocracies being shittier than democratically elected retards.

Seriously senpai, take a break from /pol/
>>
>two party system that eliminates differences and makes voting completely pointless
I thought you fucks only had guns so you could shoot up the government when you weren't being politically represented
>>
>>331521670
Anon, popular vote means literally nothing in a presidential election.

If you're referring to the electoral recounts in Florida all studies have shown that Bush still swept it and Gore was just crying for attention, like he's done his entire political and post-political career.
>>
>>331521895
No it's to shoot Commies and Muslims. And schools.
>>
>>331521895

If you want to see an example of what rebellion looks like when you probably had more time to wait you can see Egypt. They rebelled against Mubarak and now even those who revolted against Mubarack readily admit that things are a thousand times worse under Sisi, more repressive, more undemocratic and more totalitarian.

The guns are for if our government were to pull an Al-Assad Yeah I know he's better than the opposition today but he could have done some bullshit democratic carrots instead of the stick and he wouldn't have his country devastated like it is today, not for if we have a flawed system but one which you can work with.

Al-Assad has job security in that he is better than the alternatives, but he pretty much caused all this shit in the first place.

of course, obama has the majority share of the fucked-things-up bowl but its not like anyone is going to call him out on it. He won the Noble Peace Prize for not being Bush on election, only to turn into another eight years of bush.
