New Dark Souls player here. Got the game a week ago. This game doesn't feel like difficulty. It feels like an elaborate troll by the developers to make a game as insufferable and nebulous as possible.
However the satisfaction I feel after finally beating an encounter is nothing like I've ever felt in a video game before.
