Why are Xbox achievements so rewarding? Why are Steam achievements so uneventful?

Xbox 360 felt good. I am not feeling it anymore on Xbox One. Plus achievements feel too silly now as you would have to complete games twice as they can also have PC lists.

Its the sound effect, presentation and numbers, it feels like something is getting put into your bank account. It's psychologically mastered to make you feel like you've earned a little something.

I don't mind trophies but the platinum can be broken when one trophy is no longer obtainable such as an online one. With achievements and DLC you can surpass 1000 in a game quite easily now.
Also there is this one Cars game on 360 that had any unlock all achievements achievement that never seemed to unlock. They never patched it.

Steam achievements suck because:

>no points attached to them, making the harder one worth more than easy ones
>no total point system on your profile
Some of the shitty titles I've played. I did do Gears on 360 but couldn't be bothered doing it all again on PC.
