Every version has English voices.

In the UK/USA version, the ghosts speak in distorted broken English rather than direct text-to-speech English like in the Japanese version.

I love this game so much, why won't some indie hipster just make a spiritual successor? that seems to be the rage among them.

If memory serves correct, the Japanese version of the game is actually censored, and the audio for the English version is clearer in the sense that the mumbling is altered slightly.

honestly i like the creepy distortion where you can kind of understand them more
they did "censor" the game everywhere from the original trailer becuase i guess they couldnt have you just murdering people with sticks or something
