Nice try Bethesda. This is mod sized DLC you are charging people for. The story is uninspiring and predictable. I did enjoy making suicide robots and sending them into Diamond City, 3/10

It's not though, at least beyond the most literal definition of the term but at that point literally any game is a role playing game. Still it's ok to like the game anon, just don't pretend it's anything more than a open world shooter with some unlockable skills.

I was able to solve that myself.
well, if anybody else has the same problem, there it is.
The quest id for "a new threat" is 01000801 and if you get stuck at that part like I did, setstage 2900 will fix it.
