Last time I went to Gamestop was when I wanted to get Assassins creed. They didn't have it there but they told me that they had Assassin's creed 2 and I bought it.
It costed me around 90 - 95$ and I played it for about a week. I couldn't return it since it's only a weeks return policy or whatever so I felt really stupid for giving them so much money for such a mediocre game.
After all of that I've never visited GreedStop again and probably never will since I'm also a lazy fuck.

No they aren't paid commission. In some stores, whether or not they keep you is based on your individual metrics, how much you sell, how many PowerUp Rewards memberships you sell, etc.
That doesn't apply to all Gamestops, though. The one I worked in didn't do this, because the manager wasn't retarded. He just paid attention to the weekly and monthly sales totals.
