Pretty average. There wasn't a lot of good moments or humor. World was a little too standard, lack of a real overworld made the whole thing feel too linear even if it wasn't any moreso than the rest of the series. Super easy cause dem babies.
The game spends the first 2+ hours in unskippable tutorials designed for braindead babies. There might be a decent game after that but I'll never find out.

My favorite in the M&L series honestly. I like it when games that usually have a upbeat friendly charm to it gets dark plus I like time travel, even the simplest form of it. It's been a while though, so I don't remember it's flaws.

I liked the bosses actually being bosses, BIS's 5 turn bosses are pretty sad
It's okay, but I would probably like it more if I hadn't played the US version with the overinflated enemy HP. Damage sponge enemies are one of my most hated things in RPGs because they hugely bog down the pace of the game, and PiT suffered from them in a big way.
I think even without that issue I would still like it less than Superstar Saga or Bowser's Inside Story though. I found the babies rather annoying in terms of both storyline and gameplay.

I don't know what it is but I got bored of superstar after Bowletta happend. Didn't care to keep playing. But the other three kept my attention. Yes PiT's bosses can take a while but SS's seemed to die in five turns.
Replacing mp with items was obviously a terrible decision, sure.

I actually really like the Bros. Items. I thought it was an interesting concept to have your special moves be purchasable items, since it made you really think ahead about how much you'd ideally like to use any special move.
Also, the bosses are trivialized if you use the pepper items.
