Because the Yeti sits in an uncomfortable valley where it's not good enough for professional studio work and not cheap enough for amateur plebs.
A Snowball by the same company is as high as you should go for amateur Jewtube commentaries or whatnot, but past that you should look into better mics and even shit like shock mounts and sound-dampening panels.
