Win10 is a mess in terms of privacy. The whole system is locked down and dumbed down for mouth-breathing retards. Some processes bypass the hosts file no matter what. You get errors saying only "Oops! Something happened" without further info, sometimes it straight up crashes and reboots out of the blue and you're left there wondering. The whole system seems to patronize you constantly.
Also you get ads shoved down your throat and you can't disable updates if you're on the home version.
Why would anyone subject themselves to this? DX12 is not enough of a reason now that Vulkan exists. Stick to Win 7 or GNU + systemd + Linux.

Smeone asked me in the previous thread what problems I had with Windows 10. Well, first of all I followed that guide to get the enterprise version without all the garbage attached to it and ran that debloater but the problem was that I needed to have the media center shit so I had to reinstall the whole os to get that. Second time I was still having issues so I just gave up and ran it vanilla only turning off what little telemetry settings I could. That worked fine for a while but the Adobe suite of products ran like total garbage I was getting this stupid white circle around every one of my clicks and randomly pen pressure would stop being detected and I'd have to alt tab in and out to refocus the window. In Flash I couldn't transform tool any objects, I would have to click through the window when it wasn't focused to get it to work. Like when I was running a Hackintosh it honestly ran way more smoothly then this, Ended up reinstalling 7 but if its still shit Ill go back to OSX

It's all segmented into a million different distros, and even those of the major ones which supposedly focus on being user-friendly are hard for newer users to pick up. Knowing how to use shell commands is still essential if you want to do anything beyond browsing the internet and using office programs.

Anyone on windows 10 have problems with Blade and Soul? Game runs fine, but I get microstutter where the game will just completely lock up for like, two tenths of a second and everything just stops, but then it shoots back up to 60 fps. A few years ago if you have AMD hardware. The open source AMD drivers, which are now the official drivers on Linux have native Direct3D 9 support so you can bypass the wrapper and the games will work.
The downside is that AMD's OpenGL performance still lags behind Nvidia, but since they've now released their Vulkan driver there is hope for the future.
