But yeah its kinda blurry looking (not nearly as much as in OPs pick, but still no nearly as clear as it should be), but I really don't notice that as much as I notice some of the awkward aliasing-effects I see around the self-shadowing.

No not really.
The upscale blur depends on the method you use, sacrificing image quality to reduce sub upscale hd artifacts is possible and i am pretty sure the native resolution is dynamic sub hd.

The game looks it's being streamed a la Onlive. At least it runs 60fps, I think.
