I'm new to these games, and just finished the first two, with normal endings, without doing anything special like unlocking characters and stuff. They are flawed, and you do need to like the cute art to enjoy it, but its not as bad as /v/ made me believe. Now I'm going through the third one, I'll check the extra stuff and alternative endings for the other games after this.

I was already enjoying this one way more than the first two since it feels much more polished, with better dungeons and all, it just got even better, it also helps that the loli characters are actually pretty good in combat.

Tsunakos art alone makes them worth it. And it's easy to see that most of their budget is spent on the big-name voice actors. You should recognize most of the voice actors for the main cast if you watch anime, which you do since you're on this website. Better than spending 90% of your budget on something that doesn't affect the game at all such as PR/marketing like western companies do.
Them games aren't bad, they're actually pretty decent/good if you like cute girls doing cute things. Except for the dungeon copypaste, which was really bad in RB1. Slightly improved but still leaves to be desired in RB2. Haven't playrd RB3 yet.

Rebirth 3 the dungeons are bigger and better, you will see expanded versions of the ones in the first two games and newer ones.
But they actually feel more like dungeons now, I want to know how they are in VII, I hope they kept improving.
I'd love a Neptunia game with really deep and challenging dungeons that require and reward actual exploration, but that's not really a JRPG thing.
