You didn't just leave him in there, right?
>>
Yes, just like my Nintendog.
>>
>>331163120

Yes, it's stuck in limbo, between the game and the pokewalker.
>>
>>331163120
I think the last thing I put in there was a Sunkern.
>Tfw the thing's batteries died years ago.
And nothing of value was lost.
>>
>>331163120
No. I took him out because I knew I was never going to use this thing ever again.
>>
Good thing the game cart lets you recover the Pokemon just in case
>>
>>331163120
My Mudkip has been in there for 6 years.
>>
>traded in my Heart Gold to Gamestop years ago
>unpack things
>realize I still own the pokewalker

Whoops.
>>
Yeah I put Archeus or whatever his name was and never used it again
>>
>>331164009
Shit anon, I did the exact same thing.
Is it wrong to feel remorse?
>>
There is a ponyta that randomly popped up in mine, but I can't bring it back into the game because I don't have regular DS anymore and I can't transfer it from the Pokéwalker to my new 3DS XL
>>
i leveled up my shiny gyrodos in there. I evacuated him before I knew I'd get bored with it, though.
>>
>>331163120
>used to work in fast food when these came out
>kept it in pocket during shift because constantly moving
>wrack up a shit ton of steps
>one day coming home and don't feel bulge in pocket
>fucking gone

Those pockets were deep, too, so only thing I can think of is it fell out when sitting down or some shit. RIP Typhlosion. Haven't touched my SS game since.
>>
>>331164168
It doesn't matter what ds you have so long as you have heartgold/soulsilver
>>
>>331163120
The Pokewalker was pretty cool. I wish it could be a more complex and compatible with later gens.
>>
>tfw lost mine
That thing was tough, I accidentally ran it through the washing machine in my pants pocket a few times and it still worked.
>>
>tfw a pokewalker inspired me to start jogging a mile every morning
>>
>>331164347
I mean I don't have my NDS lite at all, I accidentally broke it, when it fell off since a couple of years. Only a new 3DS XL, the thing is that my brother moved away two weeks ago into an appartment and I was using his DS to bring back my Pokémon.
>>
>>331164168

The New still has a sensor on top. As long as you still have the game, it should work.
>>
>>331164834
It's still got IR

>Pokémon retrieval
>A Pokémon that has been transferred onto a Pokéwalker is not actually removed from the game and moved to the device; rather, the Pokémon's data is copied and sent. The targeted Pokémon is instead put aside and cannot be used in the game until the data has been returned to that game. Therefore, if a Pokéwalker is lost or damaged, the Pokémon is not lost. A Pokémon can be restored to the game it was taken from if a Pokéwalker is lost or broken by pressing and holding Up, Select, and R at the Pokéwalker connection screen. The Pokémon will be returned to the PC box with its level and friendship unaffected.

So can I still bring back my Pokémon if I put HG in the 3ds XL?
>>
>>331164929
Oh, I know about getting him back now. I didn't at the time and so I lost all motivation to play and now I just don't care.
>>
>All this people saying they can't have the Pokémon back because they don't have a regular DS anymore.
I thought the Pokéwalker worked with the cartridged, not with the console itself.
>>
>>331164347
>>331164834
>>331164897
The HG/SS cart has it's own IR sensor built into it.
>>
>>331164607
I liked to go on walls with it knowing my Gardevoir was walking with me.
>>
>>331165045
Yeah

Actually, if I remember right, the sensor may have actually been in the card itself, not the console. So it doesn't really matter.

>>331164993
No it isn't fuckface
>>
>get Kangaskhan, Dratini, Staryu, Elekid, Magby, and several other very nice and strong Pokemon before even going into the first Gym

I fucking love the Pokewalker.
>>
>>331164897
iirc the game cartridge actually contained an infrared chip which is how the pokewalker connected to it.
>>
>>331163120
im sorry dertini

these things were rad

>tfw a pokewalker inspired me to start jogging a mile every morning

That is pretty nice anon. In my case I just wanted to play video games and I wouldn't have any of that going out side bullshit. So I taped my pokewalker to oscillating fan and that did the trick. I didn't have time to be out walking around I had a new pokemon game to dump a 100 hours into.
>>
>>331164929
Thanks! I didn't even know I had a Regirock in there and I got it back. It's probably been gone for 5 years.
>>
>>331165267
How would you retrieve it, all these years and I thought that electivire was dead.
>>
>>331165267
oh it worked. I had to face the cartridge, not the the 3ds backward. I was just really dumb.
>>
>>331165457
>>331165457
If you don't have it anymore, follow this anon's post

>Jogging in long grass.
>Vision goes funny
>A wild homeless man has appeared.

Your move.
>>
>>331164929
Does that mean you can clone it?
I'm guessing the pokewalker would just erase the data if you tried reconnecting it.
>>
>>331165624
>Does that mean you can clone it?
In theory "yes" but you can't pull the one off the pokewalker if you use the recovery feature.
>>
>>331165624
I think if you try that, it automatically releases the one in the walker if you try to bring it over.
>>
I never had one.

>Put my arceus on GTS and forgot about it
>>
>>331163651
The battery died on mine and i just replaced it with one from a broken motherboard and the pikachu was still in there.
>>
>>331167096
It's probably traded away.
>>
>>331167284
I think it was up for a celebi or something at the time since that was the only legendary I didn't have.
Now Arceus is
>>
>>331167096
Oh shit that's right, they shut down the GTS and all the DS internet stuff. Wonder if I had anything up I forgot about.
