The last thing his company needs to do, says the president of Nintendo of America, is react to its rivals.
>"In the end, our competitors need to react to what we're doing in the marketplace and need to figure out what their innovation will be," Fils-Aime told CNET. "It's likely that faster processors and pretty pictures won't be enough to motivate consumers. They need to react to what we've done and we need to continue innovating with the Wii U and we will."
Fils-Aime continued:
>"consumer response [to the Wii U] has been very positive," adding that the device's performance to this point is "quite comparable" to the Wii, indicating the Wii U could match what is one of the most popular consoles of all time."

Yeah, Reggie was an idiot but don't blame him for having confidence after the fluke that was the Wii.

I love how they can still be so arrogant even after being utterly destroyed by its competitors in every single way. Delusion, the company. I can't wait for these arrogant cunts to be served a massive slice of humble pie when they release their beloved Mario on the fucking xbox and it sells just about enough to make 8th in the chart, lol

They do react.
Granted, their usual reaction is either laughter or a polite glance away out of sympathy, but they do react.
>>331158028
They react enough to copy their ideas.

What is this "innovation" that Nintendo loves to talk about?
The N64 analog stick? Wiimote? Wii U tablet controller?
They basically sell rehashed shit and still want to act high and mighty?

>you aren't familiar with this shitty ytp i made so you must be new
Just quote the actual song next time like a normal person you sperg

So he said this during the Wii U's launch month? Why dig up this old article (aside from to shitpost, of course)?

The only Xbox that was competitive was the HUEG. Just because it had Sega and Mecha exclusives.

You people continue to show just how ignorant you are about video games.
>>331156846
Reggie telling it like it is. Fuck Microsoft and Sony, Nintendo is innovating instead of using the same tried formulas for gameplay. If wasn't for Nintendo and Valve, innovation in the industry would be dead.

Xbox 360 was the main plataform for consolefags who just wanted to play multiplat shit

That sums up this entire console generation desu
>>331159161
No and Yes. The 360 sold so well was because it was the first in it's gen to come out. Plus how easy it was to make games on it. That's why multiplat games where design around the 360 then ported to PS3. The PS3's design was absolute horrible back in 2006. It took a lot longer for developers to get comfortable with.
