It sucks that I got into WoW when it started falling apart. I only got to experience vanilla for a short time and it was incredible. I was a terrible player, didn't understand how most shit worked but I enjoyed it. Saving gold for weeks just to get my first mount.

do all private servers lack basic NPC scripting? The ones I've tried for example don't do the out of quest dialogue, the interactions, the routes etc.

Nost is as well scripted as well scripted gets, leveled a shaman 1-60 on horde, and aside from about 5 bugged quests, it was just as i remember leveling on vanilla.

I used to trick noobs at the crossroads into helping me summon a Doomguard on my Warlock. When one of them dropped dead (one random person dies after the summon) they would instantly start panicking, as I right clicked the Doomguard's portrait and clicked "release". Not very many survived.

Human hunters are incorrect! But not levelling up for weeks straight off low level mobs that would have stopped giving exp are the first day of grinding? The entire fucking premise of the episode isn't correct.

You could play Nostalrius. It's slow as fuck compared to retail but I have more fun with it because people actually communicate. It's a damn MMO and if you don't join a guild in retail, you will never have to talk to another person.
