The pre-launch cutscenes were actually pretty damn good, but eidos montreal said that the company responsible for the rendering fuck'd up somehow, so they had to use those shit cutscenes that are in the final game.

It didn't have a lighting component to the renderer, for fuck's sake, and the cutscenes were compressed FMV taken from the PS2 version's real-time cutscenes.
Mouse support had to be modded in.
