To the contrary, Final Fantasy X was for several years my favorite game of all time.
I have played the game to completion at least four times, and have thoroughly explored all of the game's side quests and mini-games.
I love the aesthetic. I love the characters. I love the music, holy shit. Blitzball is fantastic. That combat system is my favorite in Final Fantasy (also why I love LotR: The Third Age). The sphere grid is also the best leveling system in Final Fantasy, though XII's is close. And filling out that sphere grid by tackling the monster arena was awesome.
FFX is an amazing game, and no one on /v/ will convince me otherwise.

Replaying it on the PS4 right now, it's not as bad as XIII, that's for damn sure.
And the combat music is awesome.
