I feel depressed and overall just horrible. What are some JRPGs that can help me change the way I feel, or at least shed some light on it and help me out.
I've played Valkyrie Profile, Xenogears, Digital Devil Saga, FFX, FFVIII, FFIX, Breath of Fire, Tales of Abyss, and last of which a replay of Chrono Cross, all good games in their own right, but none of them really made an emotional impact on me except VP and CC.
Has a game changed your opinion and view on life in general, same a book would on a teen?

Did Persona 4, both normal and Golden (6 years ago, 2 years ago), I found P3 better style-wise, P4 was a letdown in terms of how deep the story went.

Try the "Tales of" series, they're a lot of fun both in combat and character interaction.

Played Abyss, loved it for what it was, but it went a bit too cringe somewhere after Akzeriuth and never really got me backasch vs luke fight and guy subplot was okFinished it once, probably won't play it until a PS4/NX re-release or something. Played Eternia for about 8 hours, didn't vibe with me.

The first game is mostly light-hearted. It's only in the sequel when things start to get dark.

Also Valkyrie Profile 2 is kind of good. Not as good as the first but it feelsgoodman to see Lezard and friends. Then it feels bad because you know they'll probably never make another, and even if they do it'll be bastardized.
