I was reading an article on how mobile games are able to sucker people into spending real money by placing as few barriers to making a purchase as possible. I don't understand why all these publishers like EA and Ubisoft force the consumer through an additional hurdle that just turns people like me off.
Whenever I want a recent Ubisoft game, I realise that I'm too lazy to register for UPlay and just pick up a game from my backlog instead.
