it has way, way to many flaws, the only thing it does really well is the western style
-boring missions
-boring gameplay (way too much lock on, weak feeling and sounding guns, bullet time barely useful)
-boring world
-boring/abnoxious characters
-rockstar storytelling (while we travel halfway across the map, let me talk a lot aobut something barely relevant that sure is wacky)

I played it for a couple hours, I think MGSV is a better open world game.
As are GTA 3/VC/SA.
Sleeping Dogs is the only post-GTAIII open world game that I found even remotely interesting, because the combat and driving felt like they were designed for an actually fun game instead of filler for a sandbox game.

I didn't say anything about the grafix, but 60fps is also a big plus V has over RDR.
There are lots of fun things you can do with all the gadgets in MGSV that just don't exist in RDR.
I don't think RDR has hardly any room at all for imagination to dictate the way you play, or allow for funny/neat situations that are created by the player.
