Nintendo isn't interested in making anything that doesn't fit their current model of:

SMRPG literally has the best battle system with character mix ups

I'm with you, but Enix was always a publisher, never a developer. Even post-merger the Enix side is still doing pretty well. SE is a pretty good publisher on PC.
