Will FINAL ever come out outside of Japan? What does the future hold for the mainline series?
I hope the next mainline game comes out on consoles, I'm sick of playing SMT on a 240p screen
Final will come west after P5 is done and Atlus USA has staff freed up.
The 3DS is in a decline however in terms of software sales for mid-tier developers like Atlus, so unless the NX massively outperforms the PS4 I think SMTV will return to Sony consoles while making use of P5 assets.
Even if for whatever reason it doesn't get an official translation, it will surely be fantranslated.Just like if...

Main series is the least interesting one of all, so I don't much care.
Waiting on Persona 5, hoping for Devil Survivor 3, and missing Digital Devil Saga and Devil Summoner.

Nope.
SMT belongs in handheld. Nocturne was a mistake and Atlus realized that. Consoles can have Persona and other spinoffs.
