Just because it's old gen doesn't mean you should. If you don't have a reason for it there's no need spend money.
Think about it this way, if you buy a newer one now but you don't need it you won't gain too much, but if you wait and buy a new card when you need it the difference will be huge.
With my card I get 60 fps on the games I play, why bother upgrading?
Nvidia got BFO in Hitman Absolution too, and it didn't end up being representative of other games.
It's almost as if games sponsored by AMD are biased towards AMD hardware.
For the 120ish bucks I got this itx 960 for I am liking the results.
I would actually love to get 2fps on Hitman but over 30 in Doom. That's where shit will hit the fan.

I had one until I got a 970 back in September or October. It's a big difference, but unless you want to play something that would really benefit from it then you could probably wait a while for a price drop (or just buy one of the new cards).
