Pretty much yeah. Bethesda managed to make Super Mutants look less like the original design, so more like actual orcs, and as an end result completely fucking unoriginal.

confirmed never having played fallout 1-2
stop jumping on the bethesda hate bandwagon, theres plenty of things to dislike about them, but this is one of the few things they did right with fallout lore
Do those Behemoths exist in the other games? I've only played Fallout NV and FO4 so far, for the record I wish I didnt waste my money on 4
That's what they've always been. You can hate Fallout 4 for a variety of reasons, but enemy design isn't one of them.
