A game can be good through its story and also it can be good BECAUSE of its story.
1 Is pretty good, if you've played KOTOR you will probably like it, but if you try to do everything it gets really boring really fast
2 is still good, but instead of being like KOTOR it is your average TPS but with a really good world. It still has RPG mechanics but they aren't always the most useful.
3 is utter trash and should be avoided at all costs.

We get so many fantasy rpg's but no real space ones, or not ones with more action based combat anyway.

5$ says before its over with there will be Assassin Creed games that take place in the far future with space ship battles in space and high orbit of planets.
Ubisoft managed to hit some kind of goldvein with the ship combat in Black Flag and Rouge but have no other way to bring it back as of now.

I might actually enjoy that, I enjoy the idea of AC but not the actual games, so hopefully after they take this year off they will come back with something great, if not, oh well.
As for the ship combat, wasn't all that fro a unrelated game that got scrapped and they just used the code in AC?

I'm playing the first and rather enjoying it, I haven't unlocked any romance or anything but that's not why I wanted to play it.
The TPS combat is simple but enjoyable, its not as polished as some other TPS games I've played but the RPG mechanics aren't too bad. The worlds are simple, the Citadel is nice to roam around but most planets end up looking the same. The main missions feel a bit like Fallout 3 (sorry it's all I can compare it to) except better (I've done Noveria and just finished Feros) though.
Basically I've never been much into Sci-fi type games nor WRPGs but I like it.
Reminder 2 is the worst in the trilogy
