Just switch. Trust me, it's worth it.
Same, but I play in consoles and just need something that lasts for years and has high resale value when it's time to upgrade.

I literally don't want to though, I'm a designer/photographer/videographer, it's got an amazing workflow for work and everything else I want to do. The only con right now is I can't play video games. I just bought a 5 thousand dollar iMac with my business account (i run my own business) and can run a lot of 3-4 year old games on ultra in bootcamp, but obviously a lot of the latest ones are worthless for me right now. It's a trade off I'm willing to take for now. Next gen I might switch full on to PC though instead of getting a PS5/xbox 4

to be honest i regret my thinkpads more than I regret my macbooks.

I guarantee every program you're using has a windows version that works just as well.
>>330514873
Use a dual boot system. It isn't that difficult. Not that it matters, anyway, because nearly all games these days that are worth playing have a Mac version.

the adobe workflow remains the same on both windows and osx

I know they work as well as programs, but OSX as a whole has a more /gd/ friendly workflow. Not to mention a huge pro in my industry is that mac displays have a generally universal color correction for displays, so when I send a file to another designer I know exactly what I send is exactly what they see on their screen if we're both on macs. That's the standard in my industry and it cuts down a lot of hours of fucking around and trying to color correct for alternate displays if everyone I'm collaborating with (for outsourcing jobs for instance) is all on the same page. I know that my iMac is over priced and I'd probably get the same specs on a PC for 1/4 the price (or less) but when I'm working it really does pay for itself.

I do dualboot anon, do you see where I said I can play a lot of 3-4 year old games on ultra on bootcamp?
What's the problem? You fags can install Windows with Bootcamp.

Huh, what are you saying?

no mac screen comes calibrated to an industry standard. you still have to buy a device that attaches to the screen to tune it.
you cant fool me, i have actually worked in production

Macs are overpriced as shit but there is very little wrong with osx. The real problem is that people are still using windows.

not true anon, I know what you mean, but most productionfags leave it at default. I know it's not the correct way to do it, but most (at least around here) do. They leave it at default and they' have the same settings across the board. If I send a pantone brocure to a client I want to make sure the printer isn't commenting on shit because they see it exactly how I see it.

Tbh I'm a macfag and I've found emulating to be a breeze since switching. Openemu is really, really a great program. I really hope windowsfags get a port at some point, because it's just a great experience overall. It's really just an iTunes for roms at this point. It's great.
