if it's just a one on one battle between the two using only the equpment shown in the pictures and nothing else i'd want to say Batman because the cape at least helps him glide and could be used to literally pull the wool over Snake's eyes so he can hit some pressure points.

As far as cooking goes:
First Place: Bruce Wayne. Experience from possibly private school lessons (since such lessons are sometimes required for the sake of etiquette, ala rich people) and life lived around the globe, with or without Alfred. And Bruce has helped Alfred cook before.
Second Place: Big Boss. He knows how to actually cook, but feels that just about anything tastes great. His inability to recognize different values in taste probably inhibits his ability to make better food.
Third Place: Solid Snake needs a child to make him eggs. FUCKING EGGS!
