No, SC1 sucked. SC2 is way better. They actually gave the characters some personality, and the unit balance/missions are way better.

perhaps, but they completely fucked up with basically every mission being on some sort of timer, and none having the actual grit SC1 missions had where you had to claw your way through a map full of enemies.
There is very little satisfaction to be had, you only *experience* the game, in literally the one fucking way they designed it to.
