Goon Swarm in Eve started from SomethingAwful but attracted a fuck tonne of 4Chan players. Had some of my best moments in Eve in Goon Swarm. In a game where people got their dicks hard looking at spreadsheets and evicted you for failure, Goon Swarm was about having fun. When we lost battles it was hillarious because we were all shit, when we started to win battles it was even funnier. We won so many battles through sheer superior numbers, the salt from these trihard alliances at being beaten by a bunch of part-timers was delicious.
