Bought it yesterday and played about 8 hours straight with friends. It's a lot of fun when you play with others, but we'll see how long the fun lasts. Seems to be a good amount of depth with perks and shit, weapons being real is a nice touch. The world a whole doesn't feel very alive though. The NPCs are just kind of...there. The buildings you can explore seem to be few and far between. Haven't been in the Dark Zone yet.
To my own surprise I like it so far.

I was prepared to be let down but I'm still really enjoying it. My biggest complaints have been the enemy AI can, at times, be complete bullshit, and the fact that some missions all but force you to play with a team. The latter really isn't much of a complaint since the multi-player component is a pretty big part of the game, but sometimes I don't want to have to depend on xX420NiggaNinjaXx to watch my back while I'm shooting Rioters.
I'm very much liking it, but I'm a sucker for Tom Clancy shit and third person shooters, so this hits a lot of what I'm looking for. I also would love to play Destiny but only got a PC.
I just wish it had more variety and more content. Of course they probably saved that for the DLC, which is scummy as shit but to be expected what with gaming as it is.

Every subsequent trailer from that day on, they got a little more convinced that it wouldn't look like the first trailer.
When they all played the BETA last month they all complained about how ugly it looked.

Never, ever believe in bullshots. Reserve your judgement on the graphical side until you actually see captured footage.

Stopped even considering to buy it when I saw videos of people using stuff like the Scar H to headshot enemies and it still taking 4-5 headshots to kill.
Bodyshots are even worse. You pour over half a magazine into an enemy and see the damage numbers float off it like in an arcade game.
Multiple headshots and TONS of bodyshots with cheesy damage numbers popping up would be fine if this was an arcadey game or even a sci-fi FPS or something. But the fact that you're having to shoot unarmored enemies wearing hoodies and gas masks in the head multiple times with real life guns to kill them completely takes me out of it.
They should have used fake guns and made up enemies rather than human enemies that magically suck up multiple AR bullets to the head before dying.
For those who enjoy grinding and progression, I can see the appeal. But I like high lethality in my games. I want to die fast, but also be able to kill fast and let skill be the determining factor, not my grinding dedication and gear.
PVP in the Darkzone is likely to be high geared teams of 4 stomping everyone else and taking their shit rather than people evenly matched with skill winning out over grinding.
I'm sure a lot of people will like it, it just isn't for me.

-Camera is in an awkward spot
-Map is tiny
-Too much stuff on the screen (they should take a lesson from uncharted 4)
-Really bad character customization
-Easy to level cap and thus makes the game boring after a couple of days
6.5/10. DLC not worth the purchase.

Might try it in like 8 months when a good amount of patches/nerfs/dlc are in place. I hate getting a good build in a game only to have it get nerfed, (I'm looking at you, Dark Souls 2 Faith builds) so I'm gonna wait.

I have a glitch where me and friends are below level 10 and have people who are in the mid 20s battling us. Made it almost completely unplayable.

It kinda works with a sniper spec but it still takes 2 headshots to kill an enemy on normal which is a disgrace to a game subtitled Tom Clancy.
If you plan to play 100% solo I would say it a 2 or 3 out of 5 game.
If you plan to mostly play with at least one other person (even if they are matchmade and not real friends) I would say it is a 3 or 4 out of 5 game.
