Link Between Worlds is probably the pinnacle of design for the Zelda series. The story is pretty meh and uninvolved, which is how I like it, but the dungeon structure is almost completely open and the renting items mechanic makes rupees important, atleast early-mid game.
I like Animal Crossing New Leaf
Shovel Knight is god tier
Smash is good if you have friends
I like Etrian Odysee, but because it is just a simple J-RPG where the story doesnt get in the way and I can just customize and build characters and loadouts and shit.
Pokemon is okay, but if you'd played one, you've played them all.

Can you tame monsters to be like livestock like you could in the DS ones? That was a real nice Pokemon meets Harvest Moon mechanic. Loved having those weird mages water my plants.
